Rhonda D’Ambrosio
Rhonda has 23 years of experience across specialist tech, human resources and business support recruitment, working all aspects of the job up to senior Operational Management, Leader and Board roles for StartUps, SMEs and large recruitment organizations. She supports growing organizations through strong culture, engagement, continuous learning and people development.
She is a FIRP accredited recruitment professional and qualified performance coach and has spent 12 years developing recruitment techniques and frameworks based on human behavior, 6 of which have been focused on the quality of thinking, resilience for performance and wellbeing. Her approach concentrates on creating a foundation for transformation through developing the mindset and both organizational and individual level understanding mental health in the workplace, something that underpins all areas of personal development and supports both business and individual growth.
Rhonda, alongside 4 other wellbeing experts, has created a unique wellbeing app: Kite Support, designed for individuals and employers to support employees through COVID-19, providing them with essential skills to adapt and develop resilience during times of change.
Most recently, she has launched the not-for-profit Mental Health In Recruitment aimed at driving change in the industry by removing discrimination and normalizing conversations and action around mental health.
Rohan Kallicharan
Rohan is HR Director at BenevolentAI and an ambassador for Mind, the mental health charity. He has advised a number of high-profile companies on their mental wellbeing strategy, as well as involvement in national campaigns to raise awareness around mental health.
Recently, he has worked with the FA, Heads Together and Kensington Palace, speaking to Sky News, the BBC, and ITV about his own journey from severe mental illness and homelessness to advocacy, and championing the significant role of sport and football in breaking down barriers in talking about mental wellbeing, especially for young men.
He has, in 2020, been named as a role model on the InsideOut Leaderboard, celebrating workplace leaders who are open about their experiences of mental ill-health.
Away from work and mental health campaigning, he is happily married to Claire and has also run 37 marathons, mostly to raise awareness around mental health and homelessness.
